Job summary

Fast N Easy Renovation Ltd. is seeking a General Helper to support renovation projects in Abbotsford, BC. Start date As soon as possible; 30-40 hours per week; English required. Training provided; prior related work is a plus.

Job location is at various sites, with reporting at 30741 Sandpiper Dr, Abbotsford. Duties include material handling, form construction, material mixing, and assisting carpenters and roofers on site.

Qualifications

• No formal education required.
• Training will be provided.
• Previous related work experience will be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload renovation materials, and move materials to work areas
• Erect and dismantle wooden & concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps
• Mix, pour and spread materials
• Assist other co workers and tradespersons such as carpenters and roofers in renovation activities
• Assist in demolishing structures using prying bars and other tools, and sort, clean and pile salvaged materials
• Remove rubble and other debris at renovation sites using rakes, shovels and other equipment
• Operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators and tampers if required
• Perform cleaning/minor maintenance to the machines and tools
• Perform other related activities at renovation sites, as required.
