Role Overview: Reporting to the foreman, the General Labourer ensures all work complies with safety regulations and company policies, follows project specifications and timelines, and maintains high standards of quality and efficiency through effective communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment.
  • Install, repair, and service interior or exterior prefabricated products.
  • Assemble, disassemble, and erect scaffolding.
  • Support company culture and represent Northland Properties professionally.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of construction experience.
  • Experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, or tiling is an asset.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and work outdoors for 10-12 hours in varying weather conditions.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs using proper techniques.
  • Climb scaffolding as needed.

  • Maintain necessary tools, equipment, and safety gear.
  • Follow health & safety regulations and company policies.
  • Adhere to project timelines and standards.
  • Keep work area organized and clean.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete tasks.
