Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Operate a wide variety of construction equipment safely and effectively.
  • Work 44 to 50 hours per week as scheduled.
  • Complete equipment competency checks prior to hiring.

Job description

The County of Stettler has an exciting career opportunity for an experienced professional who will bring a high level of skill and experience to our County Operations Team in the position of Construction Equipment Operator – Full Time.

The successful candidate will be skilled and responsible for operating a wide variety of equipment.

Required Skills

  • Experienced and competent hauling and/or operating:
    Graders, Track Hoes, Loaders, Dozers and/or Plow Trucks
  • The ideal applicant will hold a valid Alberta Class 1 Motor Vehicle Operator’s License, however applicants holding the minimum of a Class 3 License will be considered.
  • Equipment competency checks will be conducted prior to hiring, on all equipment the candidate identifies having skills on.

This position entails a work schedule of 44 to 50 hours per week.

A Drivers Abstract and a criminal records check is required upon hiring.
