As part of a long-term partnership with a global chemical leader, we are supporting the construction of one of the world’s largest clean hydrogen and ethylene production facilities. This role offers you the chance to help shape a net-zero industrial site from the ground up and contribute to the decarbonization of heavy industry through advanced construction methods and smart execution planning.

- Contract Type: Fixed-term employment or freelance contract
- Duration: Until 31 March 2028, with possibility of extension
- Workload: 56 hours per week, 6 days per week
YOUR RESPONSIBILIES- Ensure that all contractors and their subcontractors comply with prevailing wage and apprenticeship (PW&A) requirements on site
- Coordinate onboarding sessions and PW&A training for all relevant stakeholders at site level
- Serve as the single point of contact for contractors and external consultants regarding PW&A topics
- Review weekly reports submitted by contractors and monitor certified payroll and apprenticeship data via the designated reporting tool (in-house or third-party)
- Identify gaps in compliance and initiate timely corrective actions
- Support site subcontracting and controlling teams in the correct allocation of costs, invoicing and variation orders in alignment with the Investment Tax Credit (ITC) program
- Ensure ongoing readiness for audits and assist in documentation, reporting and compliance reviews
- Verify the assignment of wage tables to trades, especially when not explicitly covered under Division 8 collective agreements
- Track and reconcile reported hours against registered and invoiced hours per employee
- Facilitate monthly coordination and reporting with third-party consultants and follow up on open findings
- Ensure effective communication and awareness on site that all work falls under PW&A regulatory requirements
YOUR PROFILE- You hold a recognised Canadian degree such as a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Bachelor of Engineering (Civil, Industrial or Mechanical), Bachelor of Technology in Project or Construction Management, or a Master of Engineering in Construction Management. Alternatively, you may have a Bachelor of Commerce, BBA, or MBA with proven experience in construction finance and compliance.
- You have more than 8 years of experience in large-scale construction project execution, ideally in an industrial or process plant environment
- You have solid skills in administration, coordination, compliance and data-driven reporting
- You have a good understanding of finance, payroll processes and tax-related documentation in a project environment
- You are confident and assertive in your interaction with subcontractors and external partners
- You communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken, and have experience working in international project structures
- You are well-versed in MS Office (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and are open to learning project-specific systems and databases (e.g., GDMS, ProCorr, or PW&A monitoring tools)
- You are familiar with or willing to learn about Canadian labour laws and wage regulations relevant to site operations
