Job summary

GD Lead Group is seeking an accounting technician to participate in comprehensive accounting management for multiple construction projects in Quebec. You will handle the full accounting cycle, support monthly statements, supplier payments, and cost control while collaborating with project managers to ensure fiscal accuracy.

Qualifications

• DEC in accounting or equivalent training.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in commercial construction.
• Excellent analytical skills, autonomy, rigor, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Complete the full accounting cycle: bank reconciliations, journal entries, DAS, taxes, payroll/HR.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and monitor ongoing projects.
• Manage supplier invoices and payments.
• Rigorous project cost monitoring: PO, invoices, extras, actual cost vs. budget comparison.
• Collaborate with project managers for optimal financial management of construction sites.
• Update management reports.
• Prepare year-end reports for auditors.
