Position : Consolidation Specialist (IFRS, Multi-Entity, Global Scope)

Location : Canada – Toronto or elsewhere

Reports to : Consolidation Manager (France)

Scope : Global consolidation (Europe, North America, and other entities)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Consolidation Specialist to support Solina in establishing and maintaining its consolidated financial statements under IFRS , and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for the entire group.

This position requires strong expertise in IFRS standards and significant experience in multi-entity and multi-currency consolidations . The successful candidate will report to the Consolidation Manager based in France and be part of the central consolidation team located in Europe, while being physically based in Canada .

Although located in Canada, the position is not connected to the local Canadian finance team . The person in this role will work closely with the central consolidation team and act as a global contributor within an international finance structure.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate the monthly and annual consolidated financial statements for the Solina Group.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS standards and local entity requirements.
• Work in close collaboration with the company’s central functions to ensure the accuracy and consistency of consolidated financial data.
• Participate in financial audits and respond to external auditors’ requests.
• Improve and maintain consolidation processes and internal controls .
• Support the team with special projects , such as :
• Post-acquisition integrations
• Chart of accounts harmonization
• System and process improvements

Required Qualifications and Skills

Technical Skills

Minimum 5 years of experience in financial consolidation within international and multi-entity environments.

In-depth knowledge of IFRS standards .

Solid understanding of Canadian accounting principles (even if not involved in tax matters).

Proficient in consolidation tools (e.g., SAP BFC, HFM) and Excel .

International & Interpersonal

Comfortable working in remote and multicultural teams , across time zones.

Strong collaboration and communication skills, especially with international stakeholders.

Languages

French is a strong asset for working with the central team in Europe.

Soft Skills

Highly autonomous, analytical, and detail-oriented .

Capable of working independently without direct local supervision.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to a changing, growing organization.
