Job description

Your responsibilities will be:

1. Identify, submit and implement improvement needs for the quality system and internal procedures.
2. Main delegate on the internal commissions “Material Review Board” and “Safety Board”.
3. Establish and lead Quality Governance (continuous improvement).
4. Administrator for the “MRB Quality” delegations.
5. Design and maintain the MRB QA delegation program.
6. Ensure communication and awareness of regulatory requirements applicable to manufacturing processes.
7. Control and follow the indicators allowing to verify the conformity of the products manufactured with the standards in force and with the procedures.
8. Coordinate and facilitate the process of managing non-conformities and mishaps with the production and engineering teams and inter plan.
9. Educate your peers on problem solving tools and corrective action processes.
10. Facilitate and guide working groups with the investigation of quality issues using various investigation methodologies (eg RCCA, 8D, 6 Sigma).
11. Represent Quality Engineering as the technical contact on advanced projects and/or programs coordinating deliverables between functional organizations.
12. Other related tasks.

What you need to succeed

1. Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
2. Knowledge of AS9100 & TCCA Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs).
3. Mastery of the scientific approach to root cause corrective action (RCCA).
4. Ability to manage projects and develop effective and realistic action plans.
5. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work as a team with partners.
6. Functional knowledge in French is required.
7. Functional knowledge in English is required for this position, as it involves communication in English with Bell teams outside of Quebec and/or its suppliers, partners, and clients outside of Quebec.
8. Advanced project management skills.
9. Must be able to work with SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
10. Knowledge of Power BI (asset).
11. Skills in preparing and presenting to senior management of the organization (asset).
