A leading company in waste management is seeking an HR Advisor to provide tactical HR support and serve as the first point of contact for employee relations issues. The role involves coaching, training, and supporting recruitment efforts while ensuring compliance with policies and laws. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field and at least four years of experience in a similar role. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, along with bilingual proficiency in French and English.
As a member of the WM HR organization, the HR Advisor is tasked with providing tactical, responsive HR support to individual contributors in assigned business units and / or functions. The position serves as the first point of contact and trusted advisor for employee relations issues and human resources policies and processes.

IV. Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.
A. Education and Experience
Education : Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar area of study, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant work experience.
Experience : Four (4) years of relevant work experience in a People Advisor or Generalist capacity.
B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements
CHRP Certification preferred.
C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities

Required to use motor coordination with finger dexterity (such as keyboarding, machine operation, etc.) most of the work day;
Required to exert physical effort in handling objects less than 30 pounds rarely;
Required to be exposed to physical occupational risks (such as cuts, burns, exposure to toxic chemicals, etc.) rarely;
Required to be exposed to physical environment which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements rarely;
Normal setting for this job is an office setting, however, operational site visits are required with exposure to weather and areas where large equipment is operated.
Ability to travel 50%-75% of the time depending upon geographic span of responsibility.
