Job Description

Within the Evaluation team, the role holder assesses direct investments and co-investments in private equity, infrastructure, real estate, and fixed income portfolios for CDPQ's semi-annual financial statements. They provide valuation consulting services to various CDPQ teams and participate in the pre-investment process and post-investment follow-up.

Responsibilities include

• Periodically determine the fair value of direct investments and co-investments using recognized valuation methods (comparable transactions, public comparables multiples, discounted cash flows, etc.);
• Model the data collected for valuation purposes;
• Maintain updated analysis tools (market or sector indicators);
• Prepare presentations and summaries of analyses produced by the team efficiently.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in finance or a related investment/evaluation field;

• Knowledge of private investment products (infrastructure, private equity, real estate, private debt) is an asset;
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Capital IQ, Bloomberg, PowerBI;
• Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written.
