Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in Canada.
• At least 1 year of prior experience in loan underwriting is preferred.
• Maintain a supportive attitude in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Support customers in their loan applications both by phone and in person.
• Ensure timely and accurate assessment of loan applications.
• Follow up on past due customer accounts and control cash transactions.

A regular day for you will include:

· As a consultant in loan solutions, you will support customers and prospective customers on the phone and in person to provide the best-in-class service.

· Ensure loan applications are assessed accurately and timely in a fast-paced environment.

· Detail oriented and able to closely follow credit policy rules to ensure risk parameters are consistently followed.

· Gathering loan information

· Selling our loan and protection products

· Closing loans virtually and in person

· Following up past due customer accounts.

· Cash controls including taking payments

· Commit to your personal training and development to support our mission to deliver the best borrowing experience to earn our customer’s trust and loyalty.

Must-haves:

· You have at least 1 year of prior experience in loan underwriting, experience in a financial institution.

· Previous experience working with loan origination software

· Post-secondary education in Finance or Business Administration
