Conseiller(ère) beauté

The beauty advisor is responsible for developing close and lasting relationships with clients to increase sales, service levels, and loyalty.

The specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Providing an exceptional service and sales experience to all clients.
  2. Exceeding all personal sales and service objectives.
  3. Exceeding brand sales and service objectives.
  4. Building a loyal personal client base by consistently acquiring new clients, strengthening relationships with existing clients, and retaining loyal customers.
  5. Sharing in-depth product knowledge with the sales team.
  6. Maintaining lasting relationships with buyers, suppliers, and the sales manager.
  7. Stimulating brand sales by identifying key marketing opportunities, organizing events, making assortment recommendations, etc.; regularly communicating suggestions to store management.
  8. Attending all educational sessions, including product info sessions, supplier seminars, and Holt Renfrew workshops.
  9. Rearranging displays, merchandising, pricing changes, and other tasks supporting sales.
  10. Regularly communicating with personal clients via phone, mail, or email about store events, product requests, post-sale follow-up, birthdays, etc.
  11. Resolving customer service issues and collaborating with sales management on difficulties not covered by guidelines.
  12. Complying with all health and safety policies and requirements.
  13. Performing other assigned tasks.

The ideal candidate possesses:

  • High school diploma.
  • Highly collaborative; works well with others in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment requiring multitasking with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to work variable hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a commission-based sales environment.
  • Makeup artist or esthetician diploma required for certain ranges.
  • Previous experience in luxury retail, preferably in a luxury environment.
  • Fluent in both French and English.
  • Ensuring compliance with privacy, regulatory, and cybersecurity measures.

Success will be evaluated based on:

  • Contribution to financial objectives.
  • Individual goals related to service achievement.
  • Internal and external client feedback.
