Confined Space Rescue Technician
Location: Drayton Valley, Alberta
Position Type: Temporary
Wage/Salary Range: $275 – $300 per day, based on experience and certifications
Shift Schedule: Travel day June 22; work schedule will follow based on project requirements
Hours Per Day: 12 hours per day

Job Overview:
GrizzlyTrek is currently seeking one Confined Space Rescue Technician to join our Valued Clients team in Drayton Valley, Alberta. This is a temporary position, ideally suited to an individual committed to excellence and safety.
Responsibilities:
Provide standby rescue services for confined space entries
Monitor atmospheric conditions and perform hazard assessments
Operate and inspect rescue equipment and PPE
Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and protocols
Qualifications:
Must have valid Confined Space Rescue certification
H2S Alive certification
Fall Protection certification
Standard First Aid with CPR certification
Confined Space Entry & Rescue certification
Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) certification
WHMIS certification
Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working on industrial shutdowns or turnaround projects
Rope Rescue or NFPA certifications
Work Environment:
Industrial settings including confined spaces, varying weather conditions, and long shifts
Requires use of specialized safety and rescue equipment
