Job description

Four Eyes Financial is uniquely positioned to be North America’s #1 provider of retail investment advisor technology. We are experiencing significant growth and require the talents of a Configuration Manager to ensure consistent configuration, versioning, and deployment of our platform.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and optimizing our software configuration processes, ensuring compliance, traceability, and efficiency in an agile DevOps oriented environment.

Candidate must be located in New Brunswick.

Focus Areas

Configuration Baseline: Establish and maintain the configuration baseline.

• Develop and maintain, as needed, change management processes, plans, policies, and standard operating procedures.
• Identify opportunities to promote the maturation of the change management processes.
• Establish oversight and management of configuration items.
• Evaluate and measure the effectiveness of the change management process to prepare and distribute configuration reports.
• Implement and optimize CM tools to support efficient builds, releases, and version control.
  
  

Configuration Changes: Manage and oversee configuration changes.

• Responsible for managing configuration and version changes.
• Review and approve significant infrastructure changes to ensure impacts to configuration management data are addressed.
• Lead the configuration verification process. Conduct configuration management audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with established processes.
• Work closely with DevOps and QA teams to ensure smooth CI/CD operations and traceability.
• Collaborate with system stakeholders to effectively communicate changes and solicit feedback.
  
  

Qualifications

• A graduate of Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Deep expertise with Git.
• In-depth knowledge of branching, merging, and baselining strategies.
• Experience designing and implementing build and deployment procedures used to support rapid product development.
• High attention to detail & structure.
• Experience with CI/CD and/or SysAdmin responsibilities is considered an asset.
• Experience with cloud based technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is considered an asset.
