As a subsidiary of L3Harris Technologies within the Integrated Mission Systems Segment, the WESCAM division develops advanced optical sensor and targeting systems for global defense, military sectors, national security, search & rescue, and airborne law enforcement agencies. Our MX-series systems produce stabilized high-magnification electro-optical and infrared images from airborne, marine, and ground platforms, enabling our customers to see first and act first.

About the Role

The Configuration Management Sr. Associate is responsible for CM activities, ensuring that identification, configuration change, status accounting, and audits meet contractual, CM practices, and QA standards. The role involves facilitating CM boards such as ECA, CRB, and CIB, supporting analysis of Enterprise Change Requests (ECR), and implementing approved changes into the product.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Review proposed changes (ECRs) and RFVs, identify affected projects/customers, and ensure contractual CM requirements are met; collaborate with Program Management Office for special configuration requirements.
  2. Perform impact analysis, identify affected items, and ensure proper categorization of changes.
  3. Develop and assess proposed changes from a CM perspective, ensuring clarity, validity, and compliance with requirements.
  4. Schedule and facilitate ECA, CRB, and CIB meetings, prepare agendas, and record minutes/actions.
  5. Ensure thorough change impact analysis, including effectivity, business impact, and final disposition.
  6. Prepare and review change implementation plans and schedules, and facilitate cross-functional reviews to mitigate risks.
  7. Audit change packages for data continuity and release qualified datasets.
  8. Maintain accurate product configuration traceability and update As-Built records based on change effects.
  9. Assess RFVs, approve those meeting CM requirements, and apply approved RFVs to records.
  10. Troubleshoot serialization discrepancies between PLM and ERP systems.
  11. Coordinate with internal customers, support CM procedures, and assist departmental projects.
  12. Perform other duties as required.
