Job summary

Thales Group in Halifax, Canada, is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist to lead CM activities across development and in-service programs. You will maintain CI baselines, coordinate releases, and implement CM processes to ensure traceability and data integrity throughout project lifecycles.

The role requires 5+ years of CM experience, familiarity with CMS tools, and knowledge of EIA 649/ISO 10007. Occasional travel and eligibility for security clearance are noted.

Qualifications

  • A degree or diploma from a recognized university or college program, or certified as a technologist by a recognized provincial, state, or CMII Certification from a recognized institution
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the last 10 years as a CM Specialist or Senior CM Analysts
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the last 5 years working on Capital Projects or In-Service Support contracts
  • Experience in the selection, deployment, maintenance and use of CMS tools
  • Strong knowledge of CM standards (EIA 649, ISO 10007)
  • Experience conducting cross-functional CM activities and developing CM processes
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

The Specialist will be responsible for supporting CM initiatives on projects and act as a strategic contributor for establishing product baselines. In this role you will work with and support multiple teams to ensure the integrity of changes to data and information are defined, traceable and visible throughout their lifecycles.
