Responsibilities:
- Act as the focal for all material master data requests.
- Assist in the Creation of Production Parts, Kits and Raw Materials
- Extend material to sister sites to support Inter-Site flows
- Responsible in the creation and change material master parameters in SAP
- Co-ordinate with Finance Accounting and Costing views in SAP
- Material attribute cross checks for data and process consistency including bi-annual data audits
- Co-ordinate traceability changes in SAP and PDM utilizing Traceability
- Manage traceability changes in all 3 plants on the Toronto site.
- Assist in the coordination of KPI to support the MRP II
- Manage design and production configurations for all programs in both SAP and PDM ensuring the consistency of data between the two systems.
- Represent department at CIB meetings.
- Create and maintain all production materials, kits and MBOM's in SAP and PDM
- Responsible for the accurate transfer of materials, documents and BOM to SAP
- Support the purchasing strategy for all new production parts
- Control and communicate the data changes for all Release Packages to the managers of affected departments
- Perform mass data updates in SAP on behalf of the site using Winshuttle and troubleshoot data errors.
- Work with Finance to coordinate and update the financial accounting and costing views in SAP for material, BOMs
- Perform data audits to ensure OPEX standards are being met, identify recovery plans for worsening metrics
- Preform data extractions from SAP and PDM/PLM on request
- Ability to build and reconcile MBOMs based on released EBOM in the new PLM system
- SAP and PLM super user
Qualifications and Experience:
- College diploma or University Degree preferably in Engineering and/or Business Administration.
- Project Management Designation (PMP) highly desirable.
- 3+ years working in Project/Program Management
- Good understanding of engineering principles
- 2+ years of proven management experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
