Job description

This role is an in-office position with work-from-home flexibility on Mondays and Fridays.

There is a travel requirement for this role, so all candidates must have the ability and willingness to travel within Europe up to 10 times a year.

Candidates must have German work authorization.

We are looking for the right candidate to lead our efforts; an individual possessing all of the requisite attributes, experience, and commercial acumen to join the Generis team. As a producer in this challenging environment, you will be responsible for working with senior professionals from leading Fortune 1000 companies.

Qualifications :

To produce our summits from initial conception to final execution requires a passionate, self-motivated, and hardworking achiever with:

  • Exceptional interpersonal and client-facing skills
  • Extremely effective communication skills

  • Determination to meet production deadlines and deliver results

  • Valid passport and ability to travel to the USA
  • Previous events experience is a bonus

Day-to-Day Tasks Include :

75-80% of your role - Agenda Building and Speaker Recruitment

  • Consistently conduct market research to stay up to date on industry hot topics and trends
  • Develop a contact list of potential speakers appropriate for the conference program
  • Develop a coherent, commercially-driven agenda outline that addresses industry challenges, new technologies, attendee investment areas, and other relevant topics
  • Creatively reach out to industry leaders (CEOs, Presidents, VPs, SVPs, etc.) through cold-calling, emailing, LinkedIn messaging, etc., inviting them to speak
  • Support delegate and sponsorship sales campaigns
  • Manage agenda content and copy edits
  • Maintain speaker recruitment targets and weekly deadlines

20-25% of your role - Onsite Execution and Speaker Liaison

  • Greet speakers upon arrival with utmost professionalism
  • Conduct speaker venue and presentation room walk-throughs
  • Liaise with AV service providers on audio and visual staging requirements and communicate these to speakers
  • Creatively solve any speaker-related obstacles onsite
  • Conduct post-presentation interviews with speakers for content pieces
