ConeTec Investigations is seeking a F/T Geological Technician

Wage: $37.00~$40.00/hour (depending on experience)

Number of Positions: 1

Job Duties:

  1. Participate in geological, geophysical, geochemical, hydrographic, or oceanographic surveys, field prospecting trips, exploratory drilling, well logging, underground mine surveys, and environmental audits and protection activities.
  2. Prepare notes, sketches, geological maps, and cross-sections.
  3. Assist in environmental audits and direct surveys or survey initiatives.
  4. Assist in the preparation, transcription, or analysis of seismic, gravimetric, well log, and other geophysical and survey data.
  5. Help prepare rock, mineral, or metal samples and conduct physical and chemical laboratory tests.
  6. Support hydrogeological field and laboratory studies and assist in report preparation.
  7. Handle administrative responsibilities, such as keeping filing systems and maintaining records.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: A two-to-three-year college program in a related field is required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of related experience is required.
