The College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA) is seeking a Conduct Assistant to support the Professional Conduct Department with complaint intake, file progression, and hearings administration.
Reporting to the Director, Professional Conduct, you will help ensure regulatory processes are timely, confidential, and compliant, while delivering professional service to registrants, complainants, and external partners.
The College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA) is a non-profit regulatory organization. The CLHA exists to protect Alberta healthcare users. Our first responsibility is to the public. We regulate the professions of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Health Care Aides (HCAs), setting and maintaining standards to ensure the public receives safe, competent, and ethical healthcare services. This is a full-time permanent position. The position is eligible for hybrid work with a requirement to work in our Edmonton office on a regular basis. This posting may be used to fill future vacancies.
The Conduct Assistant plays an integral role in supporting the administration of professional conduct, complaint, and hearings processes. Reporting to the Director, Professional Conduct, this position provides administrative and operational support that helps ensure complaint files are managed efficiently, regulatory requirements are met, and all interested parties receive timely and professional service. The role also supports hearings administration activities and may assume responsibilities of the Hearings Director during absences or periods of increased operational demand. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to accuracy, confidentiality, and exceptional client service.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized and adaptable professional with exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with a wide range of partners and interested parties in a professional, diplomatic, and respectful manner.
