Job summary

Maple Reinders Constructors Ltd. is seeking Concrete Formwork Carpenters and Journeymen to work on a civil project in Dundalk, Ontario. The roles involve formwork installation, safety oversight, and collaboration with the concrete foreman on layouts and elevations.

Qualifications

• Correctly interpret blueprints, specifications and project plans.
• Stripping and removal of concrete forms after pours; install forms and ensure quality control.
• Must have a valid driver's license and your own vehicle.
• Report unsafe work practices or safety hazards to Foreman.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and project plans.
• Pre-fab gang forms, job built stick forms, install forms; ensure quality control.
• Stripping and removal of concrete forms after pours.
• Support the concrete foreman with layout and elevation shooting.
• Help manage site safety and ensure adherence to standards.
• Install form ties and miscellaneous formwork hardware.
• Erect and disassemble scaffolding, shoring, braces and temporary structures.
• Construct suspended slabs.

Concrete Formwork Carpenter / Journeyman – Maple Reinders Constructors Ltd.

Concrete Formwork Carpenter / Journeyman Maple Reinders Constructors Ltd is currently looking for Concrete Formwork Carpenters and Journeyman to work on upcoming Civil construction project in Dundalk, Ontario. This is your chance to work with one of Canada's Best Managed Companies!

Qualifications:

• Correctly interpret blueprints, specifications and project plans
• Pre-fab gang forms, job built stick forms, install forms and ensure quality control of formwork
• Stripping and removal of concrete forms after pours
• Provide support to the concrete foreman with project layout and elevation shooting
• Help manage and prevent occupational hazards and ensure the site meets all safety standards
• Install form ties and misc formwork hardware
• Align, straighten, plumb and square forms for installation
• Erect and disassemble scaffolding, shoring, braces and other temporary structures
• Construct suspended slabs
• Must have a valid driver's license and your own vehicle
• Install handrails
• Report any unsafe work practices or safety hazards to Foreman
