Job summary

Ledcor is hiring Apprentice or Journeyperson Carpenters for a major industrial expansion in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. The ideal candidate has experience with concrete forming and engineered forming systems and can interpret drawings and specs to plan layouts and material selection.

We welcome Apprentices (Levels 3–4) or Journeypersons, or carpenters with 4+ years of experience. You must provide government-issued photo ID and complete orientations.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Carpenter ticket or Apprentice Carpenter (Levels 3–4) or minimum 4 years carpentry experience.
• Experience with concrete forming and engineered forming systems.
• Must provide government-issued photo identification and complete all required project orientations.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings and specifications to prepare layouts, select materials, and plan work activities.
• Construct, install, and dismantle traditional and engineered concrete forming systems.
• Measure, mark, cut, and assemble materials accurately according to project requirements.
• Plan work sequences and methods to complete tasks efficiently and avoid costly errors or rework.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it is level, square, plumb, and built to specifications.
• Maintain Ledcor’s high standards for safety, quality, and productivity.
• Complete assigned work safely, efficiently, and within project timelines.
