Position: Form Worker

Our Vancouver Road Construction Team is seeking a skilled Form Worker. This role involves building and setting up forms to hold concrete for various structures, requiring attention to detail, precise measurements, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and construction plans to determine form specifications.
• Measure and cut materials like lumber and plywood to construct forms according to project requirements.
• Assemble and secure forms with nails, bolts, or screws, ensuring proper alignment.
• Pour and spread concrete into forms, smoothing and finishing surfaces with hand tools.
• Remove forms after concrete sets and clean for reuse.
• Inspect forms for defects and repair as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations on-site.

Qualifications and Qualities

• Experience as a form worker or carpenter in construction.
• Ability to read blueprints and plans.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and measurement accuracy.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork.
• Knowledge of safety regulations.
