Job summary

BCP CONSTRUCTION LTD. is hiring for a permanent, full-time concrete worker in Calgary, AB. Location is at multiple sites including Saddlestone Grove NE, with an hourly wage of 37.50 and a 35–40 hour workweek.

Requirements include a secondary school graduation certificate and 1–2 years of relevant experience. The job involves physically demanding tasks, working at heights, and handling concrete materials in diverse settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in concrete or construction roles.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials.
• Direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade.
• Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification.
• Impart finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
• Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces.
• Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
