Job description

We are currently seeking Concrete Falsework / Scaffold Erectors for concrete projects located in Regina. We offer competitive wages, work / life balance, great opportunity for advancement, and training.

Start Date : April 1, 2024

Responsibilities

  • Unload scaffolding equipment
  • Ensure a stable base for scaffolding
  • Erect scaffolding poles
  • Fix scaffolding to buildings or structures
  • Lay planks for workers to walk on
  • Fix guard rails and safety netting
  • Dismantle scaffolding when a project is complete

Requirements

  • Follow strict health and safety rules
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Follow safety programs and legislation
  • Be physically fit, as the job involves lifting, carrying, pulling, and moving heavy items
  • Be able to bend, climb, kneel, and use ropes
  • Be proficient in reading blueprints
  • Have knowledge of using hand and power tools
  • Understand how to use power / small tools such as plate tampers, carb saws, etc.
  • Ability to work long hours (10+ hour days) outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Physical able to perform heavy manual tasks, including lifting, shoveling, moving heavy materials up to 50lbs
  • Working understanding of site hazard assessments and able to complete daily safety documentation in an accurate and timely manner
  • Be fit for duty and prepared for work each day
  • Strong communication / listening skills and ability to follow direction
