Concierge Security Guard

About the Role:

We Assure Security Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and professional Concierge Security Guard to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the safety and security of the building while providing exceptional customer service to residents and visitors. You will be the first point of contact for inquiries and assist with managing the building’s daily operations in a courteous and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and secure the premises, providing a visible presence at the entrance.
• Greet residents and visitors, provide information, and assist with any requests or inquiries.
• Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the lobby and entrance areas.
• Conduct regular patrols of the building, including hallways, stairways, and perimeter areas.
• Handle deliveries, guest access, and manage booking schedules.
• Assist residents with various concierge services, including scheduling vendors and providing building information.
• Maintain safety protocols, monitor surveillance systems, and respond to emergency situations.
• Record and report incidents, maintaining detailed logs and reports as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Experience in security or concierge roles is preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency situations.
• Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including standing for long periods and performing regular patrols.
• Previous experience in customer service and security-related roles.
• Valid Ontario Security License is required.
• Valid First Aid/CPR certificate is required.
• Valid G-Class Driver’s License is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Working Conditions:

• Primary coverage will be during daytime hours, with occasional overnight or weekend shifts based on situational needs.
• The position involves being present at the lobby/concierge desk and conducting occasional patrols.
• Must be able to sit or stand for long durations while staying alert throughout the shift.
• Professional and courteous demeanor is expected at all times in interactions with residents, guests, and management.
