Position Summary:

We are seeking a warm, professional, and adaptable Concierge to be the welcoming face of our independent seniors living community. This casual part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, thrives in a dynamic environment, and takes pride in creating a safe and supportive atmosphere for residents and guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet residents, families, and visitors with warmth and professionalism
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls appropriately
  • Monitor building access and ensure a secure environment
  • Assist residents with requests such as booking transportation, coordinating deliveries, or providing general information
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area
  • Receive and distribute mail and packages
  • Support emergency response procedures and communicate effectively with staff during incidents
  • Be adaptable to the changing needs of the community and team, assisting with various tasks as required
  • Provide administrative support including filing, data entry, and scheduling
  • Foster a respectful and inclusive environment for all residents and guests
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or administrative roles preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced or emergency situation
  • Basic computer skills (email, scheduling software, etc.)
  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
  • Empathy and patience when working with seniors
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Working Conditions:
  • Casual part-time hours, scheduled based on operational needs
