Overview

The Concessions Worker prepares and serves concession items to guests, prepares and pours beverages, and serves them to guests. Ensures quality of food presentation, utilizes a cash register, and accepts payment. Must be able to maintain excellent attendance and professional appearance in accordance with corporate policy.

This role will pay an hourly rate of $19.00 CAD and is tip eligible. This is a Seasonal Role from approximately June 1st 2025 to October 15th 2025.

EVERGREEN ROLE: Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis; there is no application deadline.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct cash register sales by taking orders, building orders, and completing transactions.
  • Ability to build orders, prepare food, and knowledge in all areas of concessions operations.
  • Responsible for maintaining stock and supply levels and communicating to the Concessions Stand Manager of low stock items.
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns with an impeccable level of customer service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including disposal of garbage and cleaning dishes.
  • Serve beverages to guests, including alcoholic beverages, responsibly.
  • Check guest’s ID in accordance with state/federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement for purchase of alcoholic beverages.
  • Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
  • Restock items, including trays, bottles, and cans.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance, and keep uniform clean and well-kept.
  • Proactively respond to team needs and assigned tasks.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be 18 or over.
  • Six months’ experience in food service industry preferred.
  • Previous cash handling experience preferred.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Ability to learn to handle cash and operate a cash register and corresponding POS system.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers, and guests.
