• ITHQ (Action Service) certification is a strong asset.

Adecco is currently hiring Concession Attendants for Cirque du Soleil. We are looking for energetic, customer-focused individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

• Pay rate: $19.00/hour

• Location: Ottawa, ON

• Shifts: 2 hours prior to the beginning of the show until the second part of the last show. Hours will vary | 5 days a week (subject to change according to the show schedule)

• Job type: Temporary | Part-time

Responsibilities:

• Works in assigned concession area

• Serves customers and manages cash registers

• Prepares and serves food & beverages to customers, as required

• Services customers and answers their questions accurately and politely

• Ensures the concession area remains clean, stocked, and orderly

• Facilitates closing inventory and cleaning duties

• Keeps the working environment clean and sweep after the show begins

• Performs other duties as required after each selling period.

Qualifications:

• ITHQ (Action Service) certification is a strong asset.

• Possess the ability to learn a point-of-sale system and retain the information

• Be comfortable working in a loud environment

• Have a professional, clean appearance with a straight posture. Note: Employees are responsible for arriving in black shirts, pants and shoes (no logos)

• Be physically able to stand up for long hours

• Understand customer service and hospitality

• Work well with others

• Pay attention to the details

• Working fast and efficiently under pressure

• Have a welcoming and friendly attitude (smile and proper greetings)

• Know when to get the help of a supervisor

• Availability for the whole city duration

• Have accepted food handling certificate (asset)

• Bilingual in French and English is required

• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
