Motive is looking for a Gameplay Designer to join the Iron Man team to design and implement enemy AI that deliver an exciting and authentic Iron Man combat gameplay experience. You’ll be joining a multi-disciplinary Enemy AI team and work closely with other AI and boss designers.
Responsibilities :
Take direction from design leadership and drive the design of your enemy characters and related game systems to create and support engaging combat experiences
Coordinate, and review AI work on your features with the help of senior designers
Work with other designers to ensure the enemies contribute to the combat experience and support the overall game loop
Communicate the design to the team through multiple channels, including written design documents
Prototype, implement, and maintain features and content using Unreal Engine 5
Collaborate across disciplines, including art, animation, programming, and level design, to develop your features and ensure a top-tier player experience
Review your features against their design goals and identify issues and opportunities to improve them
Receive and incorporate feedback from multiple sources to improve your features
Qualifications :
Experience working hands-on with a game engine to implement your designs
Knowledge of recent action games and trends in the market and the ability to apply insights from them
