Job summary

KBAL STUDIO is seeking a Senior Economist Designer / Monetization Designer to join the Seekers of Tokane team. In this role, you will design and balance the game’s economy and progression systems, tailoring monetization strategies to optimize player experience. This is a contract position that can be remote or hybrid.

We are looking for a Senior Economist Designer / Monetization

The Seekers of Tokane team is looking for a Senior Economist Designer / Monetization Designer to join our adventure.

Responsibilities :

• Build the game’s economy and progression alongside a team of 4 designers.
• Design and balance economic systems, monetization, and player progression.
• Define monetization strategies tailored to our free-to-play and crypto model.
• Work on loot systems, rarity, marketplaces, IAP, and in-game shops.
• Adjust the economy based on player feedback and analytical data.

Location :

Quebec (remote or hybrid).

Contract Type :

Freelance, monthly renewable contract. Ideally 6 months minimum if the fit is right.

Languages :

English required, French is a plus.
