Summary:

The role involves setting up and operating CNC 5-axis and Gun Drill Machining Centers to machine metal components used in mold and die builds or repairs. The candidate will interpret engineering drawings, load/modify CNC programs, and ensure precision machining to tight tolerances. Responsibilities also include inspecting, assembling, and maintaining components, tools, and machines while documenting any deviations. The position requires maintaining a clean work environment and may involve alternating day/afternoon shifts totaling a minimum of 44 hours per week.

Job Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with CNC Machining Centers, including 5-axis and Gun Drill.
  • Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and using precision measuring instruments.
  • Ability to work alternating shifts and perform overtime as required.

Job Qualifications:

  • Tool and Die experience (non-production focused) is essential.
  • Strong understanding of math and physics as applied to machining.
