Job summary

AWS/CES is seeking an experienced Machinist or Toolmaker for the afternoon shift in St. Thomas, Ontario. Join our growing manufacturing team and contribute to the setup, operation and maintenance of machining equipment.

Ideal candidates have strong blueprint reading, tool and die maintenance, and CNC programming experience with Mastercam. Four-day work week and competitive pay offer work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Experience as Machinist or Toolmaker in manufacturing.
• 2-5 years preferred with strong machining skills.
• Proficient reading of blueprints and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain machining equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Manufacture, repair, and modify tooling and machine components.
• Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues.
• Ensure quality standards and production requirements are met.
• Follow safety and quality procedures.

Pay Rate: $36.00 - $42.00 per hour (based on skills and experience)

Shift Premium: $1.50 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Thursday | 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM
