Responsibilities
Tasks
  • Coordinate access and use of computer networks
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer LANs, WANs, mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripherals
  • Evaluate and install hardware, networking software, and operating systems
  • Provide problem-solving support to network users
  • Perform routine network startup and shutdown, and maintain control records
  • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
  • Supervise technical staff
