Job summary

Hunter Amenities International Ltd. is seeking a Compounder to batch cosmetic, toiletry, and drug product formulas in line with SOPs, GMPs, and government regulations. The role focuses on coordinating equipment and facility needs to meet short and long-term scheduling objectives, with potential training of junior staff.

The position emphasizes following GMPs and SOPs, maintaining schedules, and contributing to batch efficiency while supporting manufacturing pilot runs as needed.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. in Sciences is desirable but not required.
  • 3+ years of compounding experience.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Problemsolving, decisionmaking skills and troubleshooting capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate equipment and facility needs to meet scheduling objectives.
  • Assist in developing junior staff through training.
  • Improve profitability by increasing output and batch efficiency.
  • Follow GMP procedures and government regulations.
  • Adhere to SOPs and corporate objectives.
  • Ensure schedules are followed to meet timelines.
  • Manufacture pilot batches and assist in troubleshooting problem batches.

Role Purpose:

The Compounder batches a large variety of raw material to create cosmetic, toiletry, and drug product formulas in accordance with the company SOP’s, GMP’s and government regulations.

Timing:

Day 6:30am- 2:45pm

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Plans and coordinates equipment and facility requirements to meet short and long termschedulingobjectives.
  • May assist in developing more junior staff through training.
  • Improves the profitabilitybyoutput and efficiency of thebatch.
  • FollowsGMP procedures in compliance with government and corporate regulations/guidelines.
  • FollowsSOP’s in compliance with government GMP’s and corporate objectives.
  • Ensures the schedule is followed to meet set timelines.
  • Responsibilities may includemanufacturing pilot batches and participating in troubleshooting problem batches.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • B.Sc. in Sciencesis desiredbut not required.
  • 3+ years of compounding experience.

Physical Demands:
  • Standing and walking for extended periods of time
  • Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
