Job Description

The Compositing Artist will perform complex digital image composition tasks, seamlessly integrating all elements of a visual effects shot.

Main Responsibilities

1. Compositing on various shots at different production stages, including pre-comps, lineups, 2D tracking, effects, keying, integration, and color correction.
2. Resolve visual, artistic, and technical issues or escalate as needed.
3. Ensure the consistency of the final composition.
4. Harmonize creative and technical aspects of each shot.
5. Integrate 2D and 3D elements to produce photorealistic images meeting Rodeo's standards.
6. Collaborate with supervisors and leads to enhance shots while meeting deadlines.
7. Contribute to the development of tools and techniques.
8. Perform quality control, ensuring standards are met and notes are applied.
9. Communicate work status, issues, and solutions to the team.
10. Meet deadlines or inform the team of potential delays.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar VFX role.
• Proficiency in Nuke software.
• Knowledge of photographic principles, including color, lighting, perspective, and composition.
• Strong prioritization skills and respect for deadlines.
