Job summary

The Gund Company Canada is seeking two full-time Composites Operators for the first shift in Fergus, Ontario. You will operate pultrusion machinery to form materials, monitor production, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Wage starts at $24.50 per hour. The role requires lifting up to 40 pounds and standing for extended periods in a non-climate-controlled environment with PPE provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent with hands-on training.
• Mechanical knowledge of machines and tools is an asset.
• Strong basic math and ability to use measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Form shapes of materials using manufacturing equipment.
• Install machine components per specifications using hand tools.
• Package finished materials per work order instructions.
• Record and maintain production data.
• Clean dies and molds using scrapers, brushes, scotch pads or air hoses.
• Other duties as assigned.
