Job summary

Original Composites & Fiberglass in Guelph, Ontario, is hiring a Permanent Industrial Electrician to join our Maintenance team. This hands-on role supports safe, reliable operation of electrical and automated equipment used to manufacture fiberglass products.

You will troubleshoot electrical and control-system issues, perform planned maintenance, and work with operators and trades to ensure safety, quality and production. Shift schedule is 3 on/3 off, 12-hour days/nights.

Qualifications

• Ontario 309A or 442A Certificate of Qualification.
• High school diploma or GED equivalency.
• 3+ years of manufacturing or industrial electrical maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safety-first mindset and follow safe work practices.
• Install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical controls, wiring, motors, drives, sensors and related equipment.
• Read electrical drawings, schematics, blueprints and equipment documentation.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, VFDs and automation to identify root causes.
