Job summary

All-Fab Building Components LP in Winnipeg is seeking an Assembly Technician to support our production team. You will set up workstations, assemble trusses according to procedures, and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Candidates must have woodworking or construction experience, be able to read a tape measure and work orders, and communicate clearly in English. You will collaborate with teammates and participate in team huddles.

Qualifications

  • Woodworking or construction experience required.
  • Ability to read a tape measure (foot-inch-sixteenth).
  • Experience reading and understanding work orders.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Team Leader to set up the workstation for each order.
  • Assemble trusses according to company procedures, SWOP, and Team Leader instructions.
  • Inspect materials, equipment, and completed work regularly; report any issues promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workstation throughout the shift, including end-of-day cleanup.
  • Operate all tools, equipment, and machinery safely, correctly, and responsibly.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support production and team operations.
