We are seeking a Compliance Specialist to join our GRC team. The successful candidate will support our team’s functions and processes to help protect our customers’ data, provide assurances on our security procedures, and establish controls in an evolving technology landscape.

This is a hybrid role, based in-office Tuesday to Thursday at our global HQ in Yaletown, with Monday and Friday flexible.

What you'll be doing...

• Project managing the SOC 2 audit program and coordinating with internal teams and external auditors.
• Testing control design and effectiveness, reviewing transactions and documents, and preparing audit reports.
• Conducting workshops and monitoring remediation efforts to ensure effective implementation of corrective actions.
• Performing readiness assessments against frameworks and collaborating with stakeholders to implement controls.
• Assisting in developing risk management controls and performing risk assessments.
• Helping develop policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines to streamline operations.
• Providing sales support by sharing insights on operational practices and responding to client inquiries.
• Monitoring compliance with laws, regulations, and standards.

What you'll bring to the table...

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in operational audits, risk management, and compliance practices.
• Familiarity with standards like SOC 2, SOC 3, ISO 27001/27002, COSO, CoBIT, NIST CSF, and NIST 800-53 is a plus.
• Relevant education and certifications in audit, information assurance, governance, and risk management.
• Experience auditing technical controls in environments such as AWS, ITGC, SOC 2.

The base salary range for this position in Vancouver is $80,000 - $105,000 per year, plus bonus. Compensation will depend on qualifications, experience, and skills. Many positions are also eligible for additional compensation such as commissions or bonuses, which will be discussed during the interview process.
