Position: Compliance & Quality Supervisor – First Mile Operations

Location: River Road

Type: Full time (Mon-Fri, 40h per week, regular business hours)

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Compliance & Quality Supervisor to oversee and support our team of drivers and owner operators performing drayage operations. This role ensures safe and compliant driver performance, supports dispatch operations, and maintains high service levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Driver Compliance Management:
    • Supervise and support drivers in compliance matters.
    • Monitor driver performance, conduct coaching, training, and corrective actions.
    • Conduct daily check-ins and post-trip reviews to ensure standards.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Monitor GPS and ELD systems for route efficiency and compliance.
    • Maintain and audit driver qualification files.
    • Perform HOS log audits and follow up on violations.
    • Handle onboarding documentation and driver orientations.
    • Manage trip inspections and roadside violations documentation.
    • Ensure documentation readiness for audits.
    • Communicate safety policies.
    • Coordinate with regulatory agencies like CVSE to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, including monitoring NSC and safety plans.
    • Coordinate vehicle servicing, incident investigations, CVIP inspections, and defect repairs.
    • Manage recall notices and ensure resolution documentation.
    • Log service records meeting NSC standards.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Prepare reports on compliance and safety KPIs, develop improvement strategies.
    • Maintain driver logs, incident records, and performance documentation.
  • Communication:
    • Serve as primary contact for driver compliance issues.
    • Promptly communicate exceptions or failures.
