Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated Compliance Project Manager to lead and track Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) and cybersecurity projects. This contract role requires managing projects within a regulated corporate environment, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, and delivering projects on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and monitor CIP and cybersecurity projects, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.

  • Develop and maintain project plans, risk management plans, action logs, communication plans, and status reports.
  • Lead low to medium risk business process change projects with a focus on quality, budget, and schedule.

Track project progress, risks, resources, and benefits throughout the project lifecycle.

Maintain strong stakeholder relationships through clear, timely communication.

Support cross-functional collaboration across technical, compliance, and operations teams.

Facilitate post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications

Must Have :

Minimum 5 years’ project management experience in corporate or government environments.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with effective risk and deliverable tracking.

Strong written and verbal communication skills tailored to technical and non-technical audiences.

Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive projects forward with minimal supervision.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Collaborative mindset and team-oriented approach.

Experience in regulated or compliance-driven environments.

Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Excel, and SharePoint.

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or related discipline.

Nice to Have :

PMP certification or equivalent project management credential

Cybersecurity experience, particularly in Operational Technology (OT) environments.

Familiarity with NERC CIP or similar regulatory standards.

Knowledge of Structured Decision Making (SDM) methodologies.

Experience supporting compliance audits, root cause analysis, and Extent of Condition (EOC) reviews.

Strong risk management and issue tracking capabilities in compliance / cybersecurity contexts.

Ability to analyze complex problems and present actionable recommendations.

Experience with change management and stakeholder engagement best practices.
