Canada Development Investment Corporation (CDEV) is seeking a practical, detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join its Legal function in Toronto, with a hybrid work option.
You will support the development, implementation, and ongoing management of CDEV’s compliance program, helping ensure adherence to laws, policies, and contractual obligations.
The role requires 5+ years in compliance, strong communication and analytical skills, and the ability to partner with Legal and business teams.

Position Overview.
CDEV is seeking a practical, detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join its Legal function, reporting to the Executive Vice President, General Counsel. The Compliance Officer will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and ongoing management of CDEV’s compliance program, including serving as Compliance Officer for several CDEV subsidiaries, and helping ensure the organization operates in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, contractual obligations, and industry standards.
The successful candidate will work closely with Legal and cross-functional business teams to identify compliance risks, translate regulatory requirements into practical business processes, and build a strong culture of accountability and compliance across CDEV.
