Position Overview

Autodesk is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Compliance Analyst to join our team and lead the SOX IT General Controls program. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations, focusing on IT general controls, as well as harmonizing controls across our rapidly expanding portfolio of compliance reporting. This role involves onboarding new systems, coordinating with stakeholders on technical requirements, and monitoring IT controls to safeguard the integrity and security of our financial systems.

Responsibilities

  1. Conduct assessments of IT general controls for SOX compliance.
  2. Prepare and present reports on compliance status, audit findings, and remediation plans.
  3. Collaborate with IT and business teams to design and maintain effective controls.
  4. Perform regular testing of IT controls, including access, change management, and data backup.
  5. Identify deficiencies and develop remediation plans.
  6. Maintain records of testing and assessments.
  7. Support internal and external audits with documentation and coordination.
  8. Stay updated on industry best practices and regulations like SOC2, ISO, PCI, NIST.
  9. Develop training for team members on SOX IT controls.
  10. Lead security compliance projects to ensure timely execution.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. 4-5 years of experience in SOX 404 IT General Controls, security compliance, or related fields, with technical expertise.
  2. Deep understanding of SOX 404, IT controls, and financial systems in on-premise and cloud environments.
  3. Experience assessing security controls and explaining compliance requirements.
  4. Proficiency in automation for evidence collection and review processes.
  5. Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  6. Ability to manage complex projects effectively.
  7. Cloud security experience (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Accounting, or related; certifications like CISSP, CISA are a plus.
  2. Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, SOC2, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA).
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  4. Experience with audit tools and control frameworks like COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001.
  5. Excellent collaboration and organizational skills.
  6. Professional certifications (CISA, CISSP, CPA) are advantageous.
