Salary Range: $40,000 - $45,000/yr

Position Summary:

The Academy of Learning is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Compliance Administrative Assistant to support the campus in meeting all regulatory and institutional compliance requirements. This role involves maintaining accurate records, supporting audits, tracking student documentation, and ensuring that the campus operates in accordance with Ministry, accreditation, and internal standards. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, strong administrative skills, and a commitment to upholding quality and regulatory standards in an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely collection, organization, and verification of student records, enrollment forms, consent documentation, attendance, grades, and practicum documentation
  • Prepare compliance-related documentation for audits, inspections, and internal reviews
  • Support regular internal audits to ensure adherence to institutional and regulatory policies
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive student and staff information in accordance with privacy legislation (e.g., FOIPPA or PIPEDA)
  • Communicate with internal staff to ensure timely updates to compliance-related processes and documentation
  • Support the implementation and documentation of policy updates and procedural changes
  • Provide administrative support to the Compliance or Campus Director as needed
  • Stay current with changes in provincial and institutional regulations that impact compliance operations

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Business Administration, Office Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in an education or compliance-focused environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with educational compliance or regulatory environments is considered an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database management systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining accuracy
  • Discretion, professionalism, and a high degree of confidentiality
