Qualifications

  • 3+ years' experience in electronic manufacturing with a focus on soldering.
  • Understanding of IPC standards and ability to interpret technical documentation.

Job description

Syntronic Production Services Canada is an Electronic Manufacturing Services provider located in Ottawa’s west end. Committed to our customers’ success, we understand that our people are our greatest asset, and we are always on the lookout for great talent.

What you will do
  • Replace complex components on Circuit Card Assemblies including BGA, LGA, fine pitch and small architecture (0201 & 01005)
  • Hand solder SMT and through-hole parts onto boards
  • Adherence to ESD process expectations
What you will need
  • Good verbal communication skills in English needed to report issues
  • Understanding of IPC standards (IPC-A-610)
  • Ability to interpret BOMs, assembly diagrams and other build documentation
  • Ability to solder complex PCBs, use a microscope and soldering/de-soldering equipment
  • 3+ years' experience (including at minimum 1 year of BGA rework)
