About The Opportunity

Outlier seeks talented coders to assist in training generative artificial intelligence models. This freelance opportunity offers flexible hours and remote work, allowing you to contribute on your own schedule.

You Will

1. Craft and answer questions related to computer science to improve AI model capabilities.
2. Evaluate and rank code generated by AI models to enhance their accuracy and quality.

Examples of Desirable Expertise

We are looking for individuals with:

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science from a reputable institution (enrolled or completed).
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and C++.
• Participation in prestigious coding competitions, including:

• CodeForces, ICPC, Google Code Jam, Meta Hacker Cup, Kaggle, USACO, TopCoder Open

• Platform-specific contests like HackerRank, CodeChef, AtCoder, Leetcode, and others.

• Hackathons and challenges such as Google Hash Code, HackMIT, TechCrunch Disrupt Hackathon, and more.

• AI and advanced coding challenges from OpenAI, Yandex, MLH, and others.

Key Qualifications

• Ability to articulate complex technical concepts fluently in English.
• Exceptional attention to detail, including adherence to grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.

Payment Details

• Core project work pay rates for Tier 2 coding experts in the U.S. average CAD $43 per hour.
• Rates vary based on expertise, skills assessment, location, and project requirements. Higher rates may be offered to individuals with advanced degrees.
• Lower rates may apply for non-core work, such as onboarding or overtime phases.
• Incentive payments may be available for certain projects.
