Job summary

Praesentia Healthcare in Hamilton, Ontario is seeking a qualified Sonographer/Ultrasound Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. You will perform a variety of ultrasound procedures to support physicians in diagnosing conditions and planning treatment.

Qualifications

Completion of a post-diploma ultrasound program from a recognized Canadian institution.
Active registration and good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
Current registration with Sonography Canada.
Experience performing abdominal, pelvic, TV, obstetrical, breast and small parts exams.

Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound exams including abdominal, pelvic (including transvaginal), obstetrical, breast, and small parts.
Prepare patients for procedures and ensure their comfort.
Operate ultrasound equipment and ensure high-quality imaging.
Communicate findings with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
