Job summary

Hopewell Support Services is seeking a compassionate Support Services Specialist for a 6‑month temporary contract at the Grange location in Guelph. You will work within a clinical multidisciplinary team to implement behavioural support plans and support individuals with developmental and physical disabilities across multiple sites in Guelph‑Wellington.

The role requires experience with complex needs, a valid G license, and First Aid/CPR.

Qualifications

• Experience working with people with developmental disabilities and complex behavioral needs.
• Must have a valid Class G driver’s license.
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications; Vulnerable sector check.
• University or college degree/diploma in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Implement Behaviour Support Plans and programs to reduce risk and support skill development.
• Provide person-centered support and assist with daily living activities.
• Assist with transportation to daily living activities and community outings.
• Document timely and accurate notes, incident reports, and data collection.
• Mentor and train new staff and volunteers while promoting Hopewell policies.
