Job summary

Sienna Senior Living's Bradford Valley Community in Bradford, Ontario is seeking a Personal Support Worker to provide compassionate daily care to residents. In this role you will support activities of daily living, build meaningful relationships, and contribute to a warm, respectful home environment.

The successful candidate will have completed a PSW program, be legally eligible to work in Canada, and pass a Vulnerable Sector Check.

Qualifications

• Completed a Personal Support Worker program from an approved college or private institution.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work permit.
• Successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and assistance with activities of daily living per resident care plans.
• Aid residents with communication and use of assistive devices; administer medications per supervision where trained.
• Support resident comfort, cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual needs; engage in activities offered by the care team.
