Job summary

Spectrum Health Care is hiring Personal Support Workers (PSW) in Bradford. The PSW will provide personal care and support with activities of daily living to patients in homes or facilities, traveling within the assigned region.

Applicants should hold a valid PSW certificate or be an RN/RPN student with year one completed, or be an internationally licensed nurse, midwife or physician, with strong English communication and a caring customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Valid Standard First Aid and Level C CPR
• Proficient verbal and written English communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional personal care and customer service
• Physical ability to meet job demands and lift 23 kg independently

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, toileting, skincare, light meals) in clients' homes or facilities
• Assess and respond to changing patient needs and communicate available Total Care resources
• Perform delegated tasks under supervision of a Home Support Supervisor
• Travel within assigned region between patients’ residences or facilities
